GREATER CITRUS USBC ASSOCIATION HALL OF FAME...

In 1992, the Citrus County Hall of Fame was formed. The first inductee for meritorious service were Thelma Deugaw, Gloria Ogle, Robert Simon & Richard Hocking.

In 1997, Hocking was also inducted into the Florida Hall of Fame. In 1993, inductees were Lillian Ogden and Helen & Edward Schmitz.  Don Griffin & Jay Lawson were inducted in 1993 for Ability.

In 1985, Dick Hocking received the Pat Patterson Award of the Professional Bowlers Association for his contributions to the Southern Region of the PBA. On March 16, 1990 he was elected to the National Board of Directors serving the Northern Florida area until his death in 2004.
